Melissa Stainbrook
Melissa Stainbrook is the director of Bel Canto, Choralaires, Madrigals, and The Blend. Originally from Marion, IN, Mrs. Stainbrook holds a Bachelor's degree from Ball State University for Music Education, and a Master's Degree from Ball State in Secondary Education. Mrs. Stainbrook's choirs have won numerous show choir awards for vocals, choreography, stage crew, and instrumental performances. While at Brownsburg, Mrs. Stainbrook created and was the inaugural director of the Freshmen Men's Choir and Starlight Voices. Under her direction, both Starlight Voices and Spotlight Singers and Company have been consistent state finalists and placed in the top 5 at the ISSMA state competition. In addition, Mrs. Stainbrook owns two "state champion" rings for Concert Choir in the ISSMA unisex division. Mrs. Stainbrook has travelled to England and Canada with choral groups, and looks forward to the next international experience with the BHS Choral Department. Mrs. Stainbrook serves as a choral adjudicator for both concert and show choirs throughout the midwest. Mrs. Stainbrook resides in Brownsburg with her husband Andrew, daughter Madison, and daughter Alaina.
