The Madrigal Singers/Spotlight Singers & Co. is a mixed concert choir/show choir that has been one of the most successful and consistent choirs in the Midwest. Having made over 20 state finals appearances since 1997 as a concert choir, and being named finalist and grand champion at numerous competitions as a show choir, this group has had a long-standing tradition of excellence. Performing several times a semester at BHS and at multiple community events, this choir also hosts an annual Madrigal Dinner and competes throughout the Midwest each year as a show choir. Madrigal Singers/Spotlight Singers & Co. are comprised of 55 auditioned upperclassmen, and rehearse for an average of two days per week after school. The Madrigal Singers are under the direction of Melissa Stainbrook, and Spotlight Singers & Co. is directed by Chad Strasser, with choreography by Joe Sato and Cecily Pedregon.
